BioBenefits™ was inspired by the natural organic matter cycle found in Japanese forests. In that cycle the benefit of humus never travels as humus — it travels dissolved in water, down through the soil to the roots. That soluble fraction is what we draw off, and what we bring to your soil.

For generations, Japanese forests and Satoyama landscapes have demonstrated how healthy soil supports thriving ecosystems. BioBenefits™ was developed from this understanding of natural organic matter cycles.
It is made from naturally fermented Japanese cedar and hinoki cypress organic matter, extracted with water rather than alkali. What comes out is the part of the humus cycle that is already in motion: the fraction that moves through soil on its own, carrying the benefit of organic matter to the root zone.
We are not selling you humus. We are selling the part of it that was already on its way to your roots.

What “in motion” means
On a forest floor, nothing sits still. Organic matter is continuously broken down, rebuilt, dissolved and carried downward to the roots. The soluble fraction is the part of that cycle that travels.
